Level Up Leadership Program
Funded by Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE), the Level Up Leadership Course equips migrant workers to unlock their leadership potential through accessible, trauma-informed and culturally sensitive education, training and certification, and unique leadership opportunities, resulting in the elevation and inclusion of Migrant Workers in Canada as leaders in their communities.
About the course
The course is free of cost, online, and has been designed to be trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive. Support for childcare is available.
Through the 10-weeks, participants will explore their core leadership capacity, build their confidence, and develop skills to positively impact their local and global communities. The course is highly participatory and the multi-modal structure offers a fun way of engaging with the content.
The time investment for learners is 4 hours per week, which includes:
- 2 hours of learning at their own pace through our online learning platform, Rise
- 2-hour live Zoom session
After successful completion of the course, graduates receive a certificate of completion.
The current offering is in English; thus a low intermediate level of English is recommended. Courses in French and Spanish will be offered later in the Fall. Stay tuned!

Programa de Liderazgo ‘Level Up’
Financiado por Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE), el Curso de Liderazgo ‘Level Up’ prepara a trabajadores migrantes para desarrollar su habilidad de liderazgo a través de un curso accesible, consciente del trauma, y culturalmente sensible. El curso provee capacitación, certificación, y oportunidades únicas de liderazgo, para fomentar que los trabajadores migrantes en Canadá sean líderes en la sociedad y el gobierno.

El curso es gratuito, en línea, y ha sido diseñado para ser inclusivo de trauma y diferentes culturas. Los participantes podrán recibir apoyo para el cuidado de niños para poder asistir al curso.
A lo largo de las 10 semanas, los participantes explorarán su capacidad de liderazgo fundamental, su confianza y sus habilidades para tener un impacto positivo en sus comunidades. El curso es muy participativo y ofrece una forma divertida de interactuar con el contenido.
La inversión de tiempo para los estudiantes es de 4 horas por semana, incluyendo:
- 2 horas de aprendizaje a su propio ritmo a través de nuestra plataforma de aprendizaje en línea, Rise
- Sesión en vivo de 2 horas por Zoom
Después de completar con éxito el curso, los graduados recibirán un diploma.
Los materiales y el curso en sí se ofrecen en Español y en Inglés.
