MWC provides free (pro bono) legal advocacy support to migrant workers in British Columbia. We have a Sanctuary Policy in place, which means we will never share information about your immigration status with CBSA, IRCC, or police.
Eligibility
We assist:
- Low-wage Migrant Workers with closed work permits
- Migrant Care Workers
- Migrant Workers without status living in British Columbia
*Workers with open work permits facing severe exploitation and/or sexual harassment may also be eligible

Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Services are available by appointment.
How to Request an Appointment
- Complete our Intake Form.
- Our team will review your submission and respond within 72 hours.
Estimated wait time: ~20 business days (varies depending on urgency). Urgency is determined after we review your intake form.

If You Cannot Complete the Form Online
You can call us during office hours. If we are unable to answer, please leave a voicemail or email info@mwcbc.ca.
Saturday Walk-in Legal Clinics
We host twice-monthly Saturday walk-in clinics at our Vancouver office.
Location:
302-119 West Pender Street, Vancouver
These clinics allow eligible migrant workers to meet with a staff lawyer for employment and immigration legal advice, without needing an appointment. The clinic is free, confidential and you don’t need an appointment to come.
How to Attend
Submitting a form helps us know more about your case and know how we can support you better. Submit the Intake Form – Legal Clinic OR email info@mwcbc.ca with:
- Documents related to your issue
- Passport and work permit
- Employment contract and any other relevant documents
